Senior sessions always hold such a special kind of excitement — the anticipation of what’s next, the confidence that comes with growing into yourself, and the bittersweet feeling of closing one chapter while stepping into another. Teagan’s senior session at Fort De Soto captured all of that so beautifully.
We explored a mix of textured urban backdrops, soft coastal scenery, sandy paths, and glowing beach light that gave her gallery so much variety while still feeling cohesive and timeless.
Teagan started the session in a casual look featuring denim and deep green tones that paired perfectly with the weathered concrete textures and soft neutral surroundings. Her smile and easygoing personality made every image feel effortless. One of my favorite things about photographing seniors is watching their confidence grow throughout the session, and Teagan absolutely came alive in front of the camera.
As the evening moved closer to sunset, we made our way toward the beach where the light turned soft, golden, and dreamy. Her second and third outfits brought such a fun coastal feel to the session — soft pinks, warm yellows, flowing skirts, and bare feet in the sand created the perfect Fort De Soto atmosphere.
Fort De Soto is truly one of my favorite locations for senior sessions because it offers so much variety while still keeping that relaxed Florida coastal feel. Between the sandy beaches, winding paths, sea oats, and sunset views, it creates the dreamiest backdrop for documenting such an important milestone.
