There’s something truly special about family, and when you gather multiple generations in one place, the atmosphere is charged with love and laughter. Recently, I had the pleasure of photographing an extended family session at the beautiful Eagle Lake Park in Largo, FL. The entire experience was a delightful reminder of the joys that come with capturing those ever-elusive, candid moments that define what family is all about.
Eagle Lake Park is a gem tucked away in Largo. With its sprawling landscapes, shimmering lake, and pockets of towering trees, it offers the perfect backdrop for family photography. On the day of the session, the sun cast a golden glow across the park, enhancing the vibrant greens and warm earth tones.
From the moment I met this lovely family, their warmth and kindness stood out. They welcomed me like an old friend, making me feel at ease right from the start. It’s always a pleasure to work with families who have such genuine affection for one another. There were kids running around, playful banter among the siblings, and grandparents watching on with tender smiles—everywhere I looked, there was a connection waiting to be captured.
One of the highlights of this photo session was the effortless flow of it. With such a cooperative and joyful family, I found that we could transition seamlessly from posed shots to candid moments filled with laughter.
