Bringing her vision to life.
Jill initially reached out in a Facebook group about wanting a photographer available for a specific range of dates for their family vacation. I commented on her post, along with the many others, but she ended up sending me an email! I was super excited because I was actually available for the dates she needed and thought we would be a great fit together.
Her vision was to document her family while they were here vacationing but she mostly wanted some updated portraits of her daughter because they were celebrating her 5th birthday! When families hire me, part of the process is filling out a short questionnaire to help me try and get a better understanding of their favorite things, worries, vision and Jill's response to the question about what she envisions for these photos was this:
"Primarily get beautiful and magical pictures of Emilia, capture her free spirit and beach loving self. Secondarily, get some pictures of the kids interacting (the do like each other- most days lol) Third, grab some playful and sweet pictures of me and my children. Fourth, the grandkids and grandparents. Lastly, capture our crazy family all together in a place we all love."
They came best dressed and I knew that magic was going to be made! I think that we brought her vision to life with exactly what she wanted.
